VETERANS' PREFERENCE

North Dakota Century Code (NDCC), Section 37-19.1-01 defines veterans' preference in North Dakota. UND complies with NDCC in its recruitment and hiring processes. Veterans claiming preference must submit all proof of eligibility by the closing date. Proof of eligibility includes a DD-214 and if claiming disabled status, a copy of VA statement dated within the past year indicating disability.
